UK Mediation Achieves ‘Investors in People’ Accreditation

Scott McIver Articles

This week, UK Mediation has been awarded the Investors in People (IiP) standard – an internationally-recognised framework that helps organisations to improve their performance through the management and development of their employees.

And, having achieved it for the fifth time in succession, we are very proud to once again reflect the very best in people management excellence.

To achieve accreditation, organisations are assessed against three themes, IMPROVING, LEADING, and SUPPORTING, with three key performance indicators in each.  These include managing performance, empowering and involving, values and behaviours, and sustaining success, all of which UK Mediation passed with flying colours!

We are also pleased to add this accreditation to our ISO 9001 quality assurance standard, which we achieved back in February.

Enthusiasm and support for the business came through from all those interviewed, and the commitment towards the future of UK Mediation Ltd was clear,” the Investors in People report stated.

There were clear company objectives, supported by some exciting new product developments and marketing strategies. In addition, there is a young committed team in place to deliver all of these plans.”

And, upon receiving this news, our CEO and founder, Dr Mike Talbot, was delighted:

It’s fantastic to gain formal recognition of the development and contribution of our employees and affiliates, who are at the heart of everything we do. And, in terms of the bigger picture, frameworks like IiP affect and shape the whole culture of an organisation, and can have a positive knock-on effect to the services we offer and how we communicate with clients.”
