Join us on Friday 14th February for our fifth 'Conversations with a Mediator' webinar.
As a practitioner, educator, and author, Michael Lang has been among the leading voices advocating for and encouraging the use of mediation. Over the past 40 years, he has mediated disputes involving divorcing couples and helped resolve probate and other family conflicts. Michael also worked to resolve conflicts in businesses, government agencies, universities, and other workplace settings.
Michael was the founding director for one of the first graduate programs in conflict resolution in the US at Antioch University and served in a similar role for the graduate program in dispute resolution at Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC. He also acted as Practicum Director at the graduate dispute resolution program at Sullivan University.
In the past 20 years, Michael has promoted the use of reflective practice principles and methods through conference presentations, university courses, and webinars. As well, he also helped organise and lead peer mentoring groups for local, regional, and national organizations, currently including groups sponsored by ACR, ABA Section of Dispute Resolution, APFM, the Nebraska Mediation Association, and Family Mediation Service, Ireland.
Michael will also be joining UK Mediation CEO, Dr Mike Talbot, to answer questions in an interactive Q+A session.
