Mediation Refresher

Dust off your mediation skills and get your practice back on track.

We want to offer you a reminder about what you have learned on your training, to give you a chance to practise on a simulated case, and to share experiences of any cases that you have been lucky enough to complete.

We encourage people to contribute to the agenda, by inviting you to say what you would like to see during the day. In addition to the topics chosen by you, we make sure to include a slot for the revision of the step-by-step mediation model, a chance for everyone to get some practice on a simulated case, and to get some individual feedback from our trainers.

Course FAQs

We understand that you may have some queries about the course’s content, the resulting qualification, or about how the training is delivered.

We’ve gathered together some of the most Frequently Asked Questions and have answered them below.

Would this course be a good introduction to mediation?

This course is designed for those who have already completed some training in mediation.

If you were looking to become a fully-qualified mediator, we would instead recommend our externally-accredited qualification, the Interpersonal Mediation Practitioner's Certificate.

Or, if you were just looking for some practical skills to take away and begin using, our range of short skills courses would be more appropriate.

Who should attend this course?

This half-day or one-day Refresher course is suitable for anyone who has undertaken accredited mediation training.

Delegates do not have to have done previous training with UK Mediation, and their training could have been delivered by another provider.
