UK Mediation Returns to Gibraltar in June

Scott McIver Articles

Later this year, UK Mediation will return to Gibraltar to deliver our externally-accredited training course, the Interpersonal Mediation Practitioner’s Certificate (IMPC).

Delivered in collaboration with CAB Gibraltar, the training will take place between Monday 7th – Friday 11th June, and we look forward to seeing old friends and new faces upon our return.

UK Mediation has always had an excellent relationship with Gibraltar and, over the years, our courses there have been met with exceptional feedback. And, despite the pandemic, we have continued to receive dozens of enquiries about potential courses on The Rock. It is thanks to this demand that we have decided to schedule the course later on this year.

This announcement comes at an excellent time for potential delegates too. After the UK’s recent exit from EU, UK Mediation were pleased to announce their IMI recognition, which results in ‘IMI Qualified’ status for all of our learners. This is obviously a huge factor for overseas delegates, and we are excited to offer resident Gibraltarians such a prestigious and well-recognised qualification.

UK Mediation CEO Dr Mike Talbot had this to say about the announcement:

“We are delighted to be returning to Gibraltar this Spring, once again bringing our market-leading training course to friends on The Rock.

We’ve made some exciting developments to our esteemed course, not least that our delegates will now gain worldwide recognition with the International Mediation Institute. With this in mind, we hope to meet plenty more prospective mediators in May for what promises to be a great course!”

The course will be held at The Rock Hotel, and will run from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and places can be booked through our online booking form.
