Webinar: Neighbourhood Mediation
13th September 2019
12:00 UK time
Neighbourhood disputes are common and can cause a great deal of upset and bad feeling between people. Mediation provides an opportunity for people to communicate better, to understand one another’s concerns, and to jointly come up with ideas for how to end their dispute.
This webinar, aimed at housing associations, tenants’ associations and landlords, focuses on all disputes affecting both tenants and between neighbours, including:
- Disputes between neighbours in a social housing setting
- Problems with non-payment of rent or other bills
- ‘Problem’ tenants and low-level ASB
Dr Mike Talbot, who leads the webinar, has extensive experience in the housing sector, having worked with numerous housing associations and local authorities over many years.

Who are UK Mediation?
Founded in 1999 by Dr Mike Talbot, UK Mediation have come to be recognised as the pioneering thought leader in mediation and mediation training.
Based in the United Kingdom and operating all over the world, UK Mediation uses only the most experienced mediators and adult educators: resolving disputes for people or training them how to do it for themselves.
We are mediation specialists. We understand how and why mediation works, we are experts in training and qualifying mediators, and we are passionate about what we do.
We know that a lot of mediators are throwing accreditations round like they are going out of fashion, so we will make it simple. We have all of the accreditations you would expect as well as Ofqual and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Not to mention we are the only mediation company to carry the Investors in People and ISO9001 awards.
"I can't believe how much valuable insight and information I picked up from this webinar! Clear, concise and informative."
