Senior Mediation Trainer
Based at our head office in Derbyshire
Extensive UK travel required
Due to our continued growth and an increasing demand for our training courses, we are looking for an additional full-time trainer to join our team.
Supported by a well-established administration and marketing team, you will deliver our mediation training courses to a wide range of people and organisations at locations across the UK, and occasionally beyond.
You will have extensive experience of delivering courses in mediation or in related ‘soft skills’ fields such as human relationships, conflict management, counselling or coaching.
Ideally, you will hold an accredited qualification as a mediator (such as our Interpersonal Mediation Practitioner’s Certificate), you will have practised in this field for a number of years, and you will have a relevant qualification such as a PGCE, C&G 7407, or the Certificate in Education.
Exceptionally, however, we will offer to train you and help you to develop your skills to the required level.
More about the role:
Our training courses are constantly being developed with new case studies, role play scenarios, and general improvements based on learner feedback.
Our IMPC includes a post-course written assessment. You will be marking these assessments, based on our criteria and learning objectives.
Every in-house course we run involves a pre-course consultation, which allows us to tailor the course to the sector, culture and structure of the organisation, ensuring the course is as relevant and appropriate to the learners as possible.
Exceptionally, for candidates with significant training experience, but without a formal qualification in mediation, we will send you on our widely-respected Level 4 Interpersonal Mediation Practitioner’s Certificate course.
All of the associated administration – travel, accommodation, contact with learners, etc – is taken care of by our training coordinator, leaving you to concentrate on ensuring a rewarding training experience for our learners.
